ABOUT $2.2 million will invested in the National Arboretum in the next six months under an ACT Labor government.

The Labor party says the investment would go towards improving roads and trails in the facility, with a total of 4.5 kilometres of dirt roads upgraded to tarmac to allow access during wet weather.

“The investment will also be used for improved site accessibility, with new wheelchair accessible paths in Central Valley and the Himalayan Cedar Forest,” says ACT Labor leader Andrew Barr.
