THE latest number of new COVID-19 cases in the ACT today (December 29) is nearly half yesterday’s record 252. ACT Health this afternoon reported there were 138 new cases recorded in the ACT in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday.
There were four patients in hospital with covid, though none are in intensive care nor on ventilators.
Active cases in Canberra now stand at 1028 and the total since the current outbreak began on August 12 is 3187.
The ACT recorded 3041 negative test results in the 24 hours to 9am today.
