Bins over Easter: is your suburb affected?

SUBURBAN bin collections scheduled for Friday, April 2 (Good Friday) will be emptied the following day, on Saturday.

The affected suburbs include:
• Acton
• Ainslie
• Barton
• Braddon
• Campbell
• City
• Deakin
• Dickson
• Downer
• Forrest
• Fyshwick
• Franklin
• Griffith
• Gungahlin
• Hackett
• Harrison

• Hughes
• Kingston
• Lyneham (south)
• Narrabundah
• Oaks Estate
• O’Connor
• Pialligo
• Red Hill
• Reid
• Turner
• Throsby
• Watson

Household waste collections for Monday (April 5) will proceed as usual. More here.

Meanwhile, the Domestic Animal Services shelter at Symonston will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday. Rangers will continue to respond to any call outs and residents can call Access Canberra (132281) to report a dog attack or injured dog or cat.

Public transport will run to a Sunday timetable and frequency on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Saturday services are unaffected.
