Covid case detected in Googong

ANOTHER case of COVID-19  has been detected in Googong in the past 24 hours, bringing Queanbeyan’s total active cases to 11.

The news comes after the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) yesterday (September 14) reported four cases detected in the district up to 8pm on September 13, two are from Karabar, one was in Yass and the other in Batemans Bay.

A SNSWLHD spokesperson said the new case In Googong is linked to the ACT. 

According to the spokesperson there are currently no venues of concern related to the case, but everyone in the district should be alert for any symptoms that could signal COVID-19.
