Grants open to encourage creativity

THE Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council is offering cultural grants for local creatives to put towards creative projects or performances in the region. 

Grants of up to $500 are available for individual artists, performers and writers for creative projects that take place in the QPRC local government area.

Up to $1000 is available for groups of artists, performers and writers for creative projects or performances that take place in the region, up to $1500 is available for not-for-profit, unincorporated community groups for creative projects or cultural events that enhance arts opportunities in the region and up to $3000 is available for not-for-profit, incorporated community groups for creative projects or cultural events that enhance the arts and cultural opportunities that also employ a local artist or number of artists as part of the project.

New application enquiries should be sent in the first instance to Cultural.Services@qprc.nsw.gov.
