Musical instruments stolen from a Watson shed

A 33-year-old Watson man is accused of breaking into a shed in a Watson backyard and stealing including three violins, a banjo, a banjola, a guitar and a computer.

Police arrested him yesterday afternoon (December 30) for allegedly committing a burglary earlier that morning.

Officers subsequently located two zip-lock bags containing a substance suspected of being methylamphetamine in the man’s wallet and some of the stolen property in the man’s home.

The man is facing court on charges of burglary, possessing a knife without a reasonable excuse, possessing a drug of dependence and breach of parole.
