Police seize drugs, ammunition and cash

Ammunition seized by police.

POLICE raids in residences at Bonner and Braddon on Friday (July 23) have seized $70,000 worth of illegal drugs, 1000 rounds of ammunition, a machete, $15,000 cash and 2.5kg of a suspected controlled substance hidden in a false wall.

The search warrants were executed by officers from Criminal Investigations, AFP Canine and Specialist Protective Command following an investigation.

Police have spoken to the people associated with these locations and enquiries are continuing.
