ACT Emergency Services (ACT ESA) responded to more than 150 requests for assistance in the past 24 hours as heavy storms passed through the territory.
The team has responded to various incidents including fallen trees on buildings and roads, damaged roofs and fallen powerlines.
The bulk of the requests have now been completed with minimal jobs outstanding.
ACT ESA says Canberra is likely to experience warm and windy conditions across the weekend with a chance of afternoon storms.
They are advising Canberrans to update their Survival Plan and take time to prepare their homes for all extreme weather emergencies.
