THREE people, including a mum and her child, have been taken to hospital after a two-car crash in Latham this afternoon (May 7).

The crash, at the intersection of Southern Cross Drive and O’Loghlen Street, saw the eastbound lanes of Southern Cross Drive closed for more than an hour while the mum, child and woman were freed from the cars.

They are all in hospital in a stable condition.

Southern Cross Drive eastbound lanes have now reopened.
