No deaths reported in first weekly covid report

BETWEEN September 8 and 15, there were 791 new reported cases of COVID-19 in the ACT.

It comes as ACT Health releases its first weekly report today (September 16), after changing from its daily updates last Friday.

Of the 791 new cases, 403 were reported via PCR and 388 RATs and there are currently 465 active cases.

There are 76 people in hospital with the virus, including one in the intensive care unit and requiring ventilation.

Of Canberrans aged 16+, 78.2 per cent have received three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
