ACT man dies with COVID-19

A MAN in his 70s has died with COVID-19, ACT Health reports today (June 1)

It marks the 64th virus-related death since the beginning of the pandemic (March 2020).

The ACT has 84 people in hospital with COVID-19, with five in the intensive care unit and one requiring ventilation.

There are 832 new cases across Canberra, from 385 PCR tests and 447 RATs.

People aged 16+ who have received three doses of a covid vaccine number 76.6 per cent, and children between five and 11 who have received two doses number 68.1 per cent.
