Daily covid cases tick over a thousand again

DAILY COVID-19 case numbers have risen in the ACT, as ACT Health reports 85 people remain hospitalised with the virus.

Today (June 22), Canberra has recorded 1085 new cases of covid, through 550 PCR tests and 535 RATs.

Of the 85 people in hospital with covid, only one is in the intensive care unit and none require ventilation.

This puts the currently active cases in the ACT at 5532, with 148,996 total cases recorded in the ACT since the start of the pandemic.
