A FIFTH man has been charged as part of an investigation into the alleged supply of cocaine in the Queanbeyan region.
Investigators of Strike Force Sulfur arrested the 27-year-old Jerrabomberra man at Queanbeyan Police Station at about 11am yesterday (September 19).
During the raids police seized cocaine, steroids, testosterone, restricted prescribed substances, electronic devices, prohibited weapons including a .22 calibre firearm, a replica pistol, knuckle dusters and flick knife, as well as outlaw motorcycle gang paraphernalia and almost $70,000 in cash.
The four men remain before the courts.
The fifth man has been charged with 12 offences including:
- Supply prohibited drug (five counts),
- Supply prohibited drug – large commercial quantity – serious indictable offence,
- Drive motor vehicle menaces another with intent,
- Stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (personal),
- Destroy or damage property,
- Knowingly deal with proceeds of crime – serious indictable offence,
- Knowingly derive material benefit from criminal group, and,
- Knowingly direct activities of criminal group
