ALL ACT Government turf sportsgrounds are closed for training and match play today (October 6) due to heavy rainfall.
Closures exclude the Melrose and Nicholls synthetic fields and the Woden athletics track.
The decision will help to minimise damage to surfaces across the season and is in the interests of public safety.
The reassessment of sportsground conditions will be undertaken tomorrow.
