Active covid cases tick over 6000 in the ACT

ACT Health has recorded another day of more than 1000 new covid cases, bringing the territory’s total active cases to 6135.

The territory recorded 1217 cases of the virus today (May 13), 675 via PCR testing and 542 via RATs.

There are currently 74 people hospitalised with covid in the ACT. Four are in intensive care and one is on a ventilator.

In terms of vaccinations, 97.1 per cent of ACT residents aged over five had had two doses. 75.8 per cent of residents aged over 16 have had a booster shot.
