Nightclub bashing: women contact police

UPDATE (June 4, 9.30am): The two women have made contact with police. The investigation into this matter remains ongoing. 

POLICE are looking to talk to two women believed to have knowledge of an alleged assault that at Mooseheads’ nightclub in Civic.

A 19-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted at Mooseheads at about 1am on Sunday, May 15  before later being assaulted while waiting for and entering a ride-share vehicle in the car park opposite Mooseheads.

Police have released images of the women believed to be involved in these incidents in the hope they’ll come forward or be recognised by members of the public. They are also asking anyone who witnessed the incidents to get in touch.
