Police seek footage of Melba death

POLICE are seeking footage related to the death of a 40-year-old Melba woman in April which they believe may have been posted on social media.

On April 15, the Melba woman died from injuries from what police describe as “an incident” involving a 42-year-old Monash man’s vehicle at 4am.

The Monash man is facing court on manslaughter charges, as well as allegedly being in breach of previously-granted bail conditions, and his vehicle has been taken for forensic examination.

Police believe video footage of the incident may have been posted on social media, with some witnesses claiming to have seen footage online.

Police are urging any member of the public with relevant information, CCTV or dash cam footage to make themselves known.

Contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000.
