THE Queanbeyan Palerang Local Government Area accounts for almost half of southern NSW’s record 441 new COVID-19 cases today (January 8).
There are 218 new covid cases in the Queanbeyan Palerang council area, a doubling of yesterday’s 98 cases, according to the figures released by the Southern NSW Local Health District. The district is managing 2460 active cases. The Snowy Monaro LGA is reporting 126 cases in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday.
Elsewhere there are:
- There are 10 in the Bega Valley LGA
- Thirty six in the Eurobodalla LGA
- Thirty seven in the Goulburn Mulwaree LGA
- Six in the Upper Lachlan LGA
- Eight in the Yass Valley LGA
