Teen dies in highway collision east of Bungendore


A 17-year-old male driver died at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on the Kings Highway, east of Bungendore yesterday (October 2) afternoon. 

At about 3.20pm yesterday, emergency services responded to reports of the collision involving a a Nissan X-Trail, driven by the teenager, sand a Toyota Kruger.

The 71-year-old driver Kruger driver and his 66-year-old wife, were in their vehicle.

They remain in Canberra Hospital suffering fractures and are reported to be in a stable condition.
