ALL ACT Government turf sportsgrounds are closed for training and match play today (October 24), following heavy rainfall over the weekend.
Closures exclude the Melrose and Nicholls synthetic fields and the Woden athletics track.
The decision has been made by the ACT government to minimise damage to turf surfaces and in the interests of public safety after heavy rainfall.
The grounds will be re-assessed tomorrow.
