Weekly covid report counts only 536 cases

THE ACT has recorded 536 new COVID-19 cases this week, the lowest amount so far recorded in the weekly reports.

It’s down from last week’s 616 cases and 730 the week prior.

Of the new 536 cases, 213 were detected via PCR test and 323 via RATs.

As of 4pm yesterday, the ACT had 312 active cases.

There were also 53 people in hospitals with the virus across Canberra, with one person in the intensive care unit, but none requiring ventilation.

Since March 2020 the ACT has recorded a total of 206,285 covid cases.

People aged 50+ in the ACT who have received four doses of a covid vaccine number 59.7 per cent.
