Assault leaves man with facial injuries

AN assault in Weetangera has left the driver of a red Ford Falcon with significant facial injuries.

About 7.30pm on Monday, a man approached the driver of a Ford Falcon and allegedly assaulted him on Gillespie Street, Weetangera.

Police say the driver suffered significant facial injuries as a result of the assault.

The man has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Police would like to speak to any witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage of the incident.
