Falcon seized after 19-year-old gets caught at 167km/h

Farewell to the Falcon for a while… police seize the car of a P-plater doing 167km/h on the Tuggeranong Parkway.

A 19-year old P-plate driver caught doing more than 160km/h on the Tuggeranong Parkway has had his car seized.

On late Tuesday morning police clocked a black Ford Falcon sedan travelling at 167km/h in a signposted 90km/h zone.

Police immediately suspended the provisional driver’s licence and vehicle was seized.

He will face court next year charged with dangerous driving and exceeding the speed limit by greater than 45km/h.

These idiots need to be confronted by the terrible often life-long injuries, pain and death of those hurt by speeding cars. We need to treat such reckless drivers as potential killers so they recognise the risk they take with other people’s lives. Selfish bastards!
