A NEW Qantas plane destined to service the Canberra-Melbourne route is is expected to create excitement for ACT plane watchers.
The new green-coloured jet, the first A220 regional jet for QantasLink, is on its way from Vancouver, via Honolulu, Fiji and Sydney. It is painted in a striking green First Nations’ art colour scheme.
The jet will replace an older Boeing 717.
It’ll be used in regular service between Canberra and Melbourne, once it’s formally moved into the QantasLink fleet.
