Netball courts get a $7.5 million refurb

Upgrades include improvements to playing surfaces, fencing, drainage and stormwater management.

THREE years after committing to upgrade and resurface netball courts, the ACT government’s $7.5 million upgrade to the city’s five district netball facilities has begun.

It starts with the ACT Netball Centre and Arawang Netball Association facility in Stirling. Work on the South Canberra, Belconnen and Tuggeranong facilities will begin next year.

The government says the work will include improvements to playing surfaces, fencing, drainage and stormwater management.
