A 15-year-old boy is dead following a single-vehicle collision on Adelaide Avenue, Yarralumla.

Police and emergency services were called to Adelaide Avenue near State Circle at about 4.55am on Wednesday after a white Toyota Camry left the roadway, collided with a concrete barrier and was found on its roof in the middle of the road.

The critically injured teenager was found near the vehicle. He was taken to hospital where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
