Police stopped two P-plate drivers in Nissan Skylines racing on Gungahlin Drive towards Mitchell, near the Barton Highway and seized their vehicles on Sunday night.
They will also be issued with a $700 infringement and incur three demerit points each.
One of the drivers has previously had their vehicle seized and licence suspended for other driving offences.
Anyone who witnessed or has dash-cam footage the silver and white Nissan Skylines driving erratically in the Gungahlin area should call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
