A 29-year-old Red Hill man has been charged after he allegedly forcibly confined and choked his ex-partner while sexually and physically assaulting her.
The man has existing charges before the court for allegedly assaulting the woman and multiple other females. He is also subject to a court-issued good behaviour order from April.
Police allege the man also made threats to kill the woman during the incident on July 6.
On Friday police searched the man’s home, where he was subsequently arrested.
