A man and a woman were woken by the sound of a loud bang at their home in Reader Court around midnight.
The man was confronted inside his home by two armed tall men wearing black balaclavas, hoodies and track pants.
The man was assaulted before being shot in leg.
The alleged assailants fled a dark blue BMW SUV.
The injured man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
