A man is lucky to be alive after crashing his light plane on private property in Tharwa on Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to the crash at 3.35pm to find a single-engine aircraft upside down on a grass runway off Tharwa Drive.
The male pilot, the sole occupant of the plane, suffered minor injuries in the crash.
The cause of the incident is now the subject of an investigation.
