Family identify man found in Civic with memory loss

Police were looking for help to identify this man.

UPDATE: Police this afternoon reported that the man’s family have confirmed the man’s identity and visited him in hospital.

Police are trying to identify a man, suffering from memory loss, who arrived at the Griffin Centre in Civic in a confused state on Wednesday afternoon.

He was taken to hospital. He was wearing a yellow/green T-shirt and grey trousers. He was not wearing any shoes.

Police say he believes his name is Daniel, in his 30s, may drive a white vehicle, live in south Canberra or NSW and possibly work in an IT or data related field.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm (5’7”) tall, of slim build, with blue eyes and red/blonde hair.

Anyone who can assist, call 131444.
