Middle-eastern airline Qatar is returning to Canberra Airport for the first time in five years, though it won’t be offering offering direct flights to Doha.
From December, the airline will fly from Canberra to Doha via Melbourne using Boeing 777 wide-bodied jets, according to ACT government posts on social media,
The original service, via Sydney, was scrapped in 2020.
