A woman walking along East Row in Civic bus interchange on Sunday afternoon was allegedly struck from behind by a man who snatched a flag she was carrying, threw it on the ground and ran off.
Police describe the man involved in the alleged assault as having dark hair and dark skin. He was wearing a red hoodie with white lettering on the back, red shorts and white socks with red shoes.
Police have released a CCTV of the man the want to talk to.
