Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, groups and organisations can apply for ACT government grants of between $3000 and $15,000 to support cultural and creative projects.

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Arts Program funds projects across visual arts, music, theatre, dance, literature, screen, digital media and festivals.

Arts Minister Michael Pettersson says the program has supported more than 30 projects since its establishment in 2022.

Previous recipients include First Nations fashion label Corella & Crow, founded by Megan Daley and Rechelle Turner, which has used funding to develop collections and participate in events including Country to Couture at the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair.

The label is also working towards establishing a dedicated First Nations fashion runway in Canberra.

Expressions of interest are now open, with application details available through the artsACT website.
