Man charged with stalking, breaching violence order

A 46-year-old man has been charged with multiple counts of stalking and breaching a family violence order against his former wife.

Police allege that between April 2025 and February 2026, the man contravened a family violence order on 10 occasions by ordering and delivering unwanted groceries and takeaway food to the woman’s home, sending letters, and leaving items in her backyard.

The man was arrested at home on Thursday, where police seized a mobile device. Investigations are continuing into the alleged electronic monitoring of the woman.

He has been charged with 10 counts of contravening a family violence order and three counts of aggravated stalking.
