Gorillas descend on Fyshwick with new movie

BRIGHT Blue Gorilla are Robyn Rosenkrantz and Michael Glover, filmmakers and musos from Los Angeles who, since 1990, have been travelling the world making movies and music.

They’ll be in Fyshwick tonight (March 11) to sing and present their seventh feature film, a musical, mystical, kung-fu spy comedy, “36 Husbands”.

The film was shot in Australia, Berlin, Frankfurt, Dortmund, Paris and LA and some scenes were even filmed in Canberra with local actors. The writer, director, producer and actors will be on hand tonight to join in the fun and answer questions

Appropriate to the season, it stars three powerful women, and a swag of husbands, courting, marrying, and singing numbers like “Love Potion Number 36” and “The World is Mad”.
