THE Lamport family, visiting Canberra from Melbourne have lost their dog, a whippet called Cleo.
“On Monday, April 2, our family pet whippet Cleo went missing from Wybalena Grove in Cook,” writes owner Imogen Lamport.
“She was last seen heading south toward bushland/farmland, and can easily cover 10+kms in a day. She is four years old and a fawn colour, wearing a red collar with registration tag and her details. She is also micro-chipped.
“Due to an early bad experience with another dog, she’s scared of dogs and will run when approached by them. She is also timid around humans she doesn’t know. My kids and I are devastated at her disappearing, we were out when she escaped and believe she was looking for us because she was in an unfamiliar environment.
“We really want her back and would appreciate if you could publicise this information in the hope someone has seen her or found her.”
Imogen can be contacted on 0413 416 954.
