A 19-year-old man is facing charges for stealing alcohol and assaulting another man in Dickson on Monday night.
Police also believe he was involved in other incidents that evening, including an attempted armed robbery of a takeaway shop and another assault where a man was stabbed.
The man is alleged to have taken drinks from the bottle shop without paying. Later that evening police were alerted to an alleged assault involving a man with a similar description to the bottle shop incident.
Police matched the man with the shop’s CCTV footage and arrested him.
He has been charged with two counts of minor theft and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
