Campbell man faces sexual assault charges

A 19-year-old Campbell man has been charged with two counts of sexual intercourse without consent.

In May police received a report of an alleged sexual assault at a residential facility in Campbell and, following enquiries, on Thursday arrested and charged the man.

Sounds like the ‘residential facility’ may be ADFA accommodation, with an attempt to hide the military nature of this Campbell residence. Potentially a PR directive to protect organisational reputation rather than be transparent. There are good reasons that ADF recruitment is struggling, as recent reports have highlighted.
