Cop shop burnout on unregistered motorbike

A 19-year-old Higgins man, who was subject to good behaviour obligations, allegedly performed a burnout on an unregistered motorbike in the car park of the Belconnen Police Station.

Police allege that on Monday night a group with trail bikes were performing burnouts in the Belconnen car park before one man rode up to the front doors of the police station on a yellow Suzuki motorcycle before riding back to the car park.

The rider was arrested on Chan Street in Belconnen after he fell off his bike riding over a garden bed.

He was charged with failing to stop a motor vehicle for police and aggravated/furious/reckless/dangerous driving.
