A second man has been charged over an alleged assault in Taylor last month that left another man hospitalised.
Police say emergency services were called to a residence on Everist Street about 5.50pm on January 19 after reports of an assault. The victim was allegedly approached by two males before being knocked unconscious. He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on February 1 and charged with joint commission assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two counts of affray and property damage.
Police later located a second man at a Taylor residence early on Saturday morning (February 7). After negotiating with him for about 90 minutes, officers arrested the 20-year-old without incident.
He has been charged with two counts of affray, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and using a number plate calculated to deceive.
