Alleged stalking of Lyneham couple

A Cook man has been charged after allegedly stalking a Lyneham couple at their home and workplace over a three-month period.

Police allege the 39-year-old, who is not known to the couple, attended their home on four occasions, leaving notes containing false information and, on one visit, pretending to be an arborist.

It is further alleged he remained outside the residence after leaving the notes, watching the house for a period of time.

Police will also allege the man attended the husband’s workplace and stayed in the carpark watching as he returned to his vehicle.

On Sunday morning, police arrested the man at his home in Cook.
