CANBERRA’s James Joyce fans, headed up by ANU literature lecturer Russell Smith, are poised for the Irish Club’s “Bloomsday” event on June 15.
Bloomsday is based on the celebrated Irish author’s once-notorious 1922 novel “Ulysses” about a day in the life of Dubliner Leopold Bloom on Thursday, June 16, 1904.
