Fatal one car crash in Batemans Bay

A MAN has died after a he crashed his car into mangroves at Batemans Bay this morning (June 16). 

The 50-year-old was travelling in a Mitsubishi Triton when he veered off the roadway at about 7.15am.  Emergency services were called to the Princess Highway, following reports of the crash.

The driver and sole occupant was removed from the vehicle but despite CPR attempts, the man died.

Officers from the Far South Coast Local Area Command will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, including whether the driver may have suffered a medical episode.
