Cheap lunches. The Gozleme Cafe on London Circuit

Share Canberra's trusted news:

Across the road from the police station the Gozleme Cafe is a new arrival on London Circuit but doing a roaring trade.

$8 gets you a gozleme in a choice of flavours on a big wooden paddle.

I went for the chilli potato filling.

So much chilli the mashed potato had turned orange. It packed a pleasant whallop.

The gozleme was light and not greasy, all up a real delight of a meal in this price range.

As an added bonus they’re doing authentic turkish coffee in beautifully ornate cups for $3.50.

I feel like it’s a bit of a find, but make sure you get there early.

  1. I could not believe that this was written by the usual reviewer, as the meal is vegetarian.

But the spelling of ‘wallop’ is characteristic…

    The meal looks wonderful.
