Car crash badly injures driver

A MAN has been seriously injured following a single-vehicle accident between Vernon Circle and Commonwealth Avenue Bridge early this morning. vernon-circle-collision-2

At about 2am (November 24) ACT police were alerted that a car had collided into a guard barrier.

The male driver, who was the only person in the car, was treated by ambulance officers at the scene before being transported to hospital.

Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
