Road closures around Canberra in the wet

THE ACT Government is advising road users that Uriarra Crossing is now closed due to recent wet weather.

The following roads remain closed across the ACT:

  • the unsealed section of Boboyan Road (except for four wheel drive vehicles)
  • Point Hut Crossing
  • Coppins Crossing
  • Angle Crossing
  • Sunshine Crossing
  • Oaks Estate Crossing.

Motorists are reminded to drive to current weather conditions and to take care when driving on unsealed roads. They are also reminded not to cross flooded low level crossings.

The public is also reminded to stay clear of flooded lakes, ponds and cycle paths.
