University of Canberra vice-chancellor and president, Prof Paddy Nixon, said: “To be placed in the top 20 young universities globally, in our 30th anniversary year, is an outstanding achievement.”

UC also leapt into the top 200 of the World University Rankings, positioning UC in the top 10 nationally.
