Exposure sites of concern continue to grow

Here’s the latest close and casual exposure sites

THE list of close contact exposure sites have started to increase again in the past few days.

The list includes:

  • Coco Republic Construction Site, Civic, 8am-12.30pm, August 8, 9.30am-5.30pm, August 10, and 1.30pm-5pm, August 11. 
  • Metropol Display Centre, Reid, 10am-11.10am, August 12.
  • Australian Maritime Safety Authority Head Office, Braddon, 8.45am-1.30pm, August 11, and 10.30am-12pm, August 12.
  • Gungaderra Homestead- Girl Guides Meeting, Harrison, 7.25pm-8.45pm, August 11. 
  • CIT Bruce Campus (Building H only), Bruce, 8.45am-4.30pm, August 10, and 12.30pm-4.40pm, August 11, updated. 
  • Club Lime – CISAC (gym only), Bruce, 7pm-9pm, August 9, 6.30pm-9.15pm, August 10, and 4.45pm-7.15pm, August 11, updated. 
  • Intermain, Civic, 12.30pm-2pm, August 11.
  • Hume Warehouse, Hume, 1.30pm-6pm, August 11. 

Anyone that has visited these locations during these times are required to complete the ACT Contact Declaration Form, immediately quarantine, get tested for COVID-19 as advised by ACT Health, remain in quarantine even if they get a negative test result.

New casual contact exposure sites include:

  • Guzman y Gomez Canberra Centre, Civic, 3.30pm-11pm, August 20.
  • McDonalds Dickson, 7am-10.30am, August 14.
  • 7-Eleven Erindale, Wanniassa, 8.40am-10.30am, August 12. 

People who have been to casual contact exposure locations during the times listed are expected to, complete the ACT Contact Declaration Form, immediately quarantine and get tested for COVID-19 as advised by ACT Health.

If a person was at the casual contact location less than four days ago, ACT Health says they will need two tests – one test as soon as they find out they are a casual contact and another test on day five after they were at the casual contact location.

People at the casual contact location four or more days ago only need to get one test.
