Masseur faces more sex charges

A 32-year-old man is facing court charged with six counts of sexual intercourse without consent and 11 counts of committing acts of indecency.

Last month, the man appeared before the ACT Magistrates Court charged with two counts of sexual intercourse without consent for alleged separate incidents in February 2020 and October this year.

Another four women later contacted police to report an alleged sexual assault by the same man while he was providing massage services at a traditional Chinese medicine clinic in Phillip.

Police allege the offending period is from late 2019 until 15 October 2021.

The maximum penalty for sexual intercourse without consent is 12 years imprisonment.
